Dr Jillann Farmer is the CEO of a A Better Culture, a project to shift the culture of healthcare to respect, inclusion and equity. She was Medical Director of the United Nations in New York for eight years. In this role, Dr Farmer was responsible for the health, safety and wellbeing of all UN personnel worldwide and for standards in all 300+ UN healthcare facilities. She managed the UN’s response to the New York COVID-19 wave in 2020. Since leaving the UN, she has worked as a Deputy Director General in Queensland Health and as a front-line clinician in primary care and emergency medicine.
