AGM and Dinner for the Profession
RSVP by Thursday 18 May 10am.
Bust out the black tie because this year's Gatsby-themed Dinner for the Profession will hit the perfect celebratory note as we recognise our members’ achievements.
No other night brings doctors together from across all crafts and communities to acknowledge our collective efforts over the past year.
After your red carpet arrival, enjoy pre-dinner drinks on the balcony overlooking the Brisbane river followed by a delicious three-course meal in the Long Room.
Get ready to be entertained by your MC for the night, the hilarious Dr Ahmed Kazmi — a GP, dermatologist, comedian and cabaret artist.
Hang up your stethoscope for the night and celebrate with close friends and colleagues at your own table of 10 or expand your network as you mingle and connect with new colleagues.
AMA Queensland's Annual General Meeting will take place immediately prior to this event. Attend the AGM and stay on to celebrate with your profession.
Key information for AGM
Our AMA Queensland election 2023 webpage contains all the details about the election process, including representatives who have been elected unopposed and the positions still subject to a ballot.
Please email registrations@amaq.com.au if you'd like to attend the AGM online.
Entertainment
Be entertained by Brisbane’s most authentic and entertaining 6-piece band Mood Music Gatsby Band. This live vintage band will start with early jazz and Gatsby, before moving into a more contemporary jazz style as the night goes on. There will be a special performance from the Gatsby dancers that will get the crowd up and dancing if you choose to.
