The "Canberra Doctor" Award

This new award was presented for the first time in 2003. The awardee was Dr Tom Faunce for his regular “Ethics from the Journals” columns in “Canberra Doctor”.

Dr Jo-Anne Benson was awarded the prize in 2004 for ongoing commitment to “Canberra Doctor” as a member of the editorial committee and contributor.

In 2005, Dr Jeffrey Looi, received the “Canberra Doctor” Award.  A Canberra psychiatrist, Dr Looi writes regularly for “Canberra Doctor” and is a regular reviewer of fiction and non-fiction books.

The 2006 “Canberra Doctor” Award was presented collectively to the Third Year Students at the ANU Medical School for their outstanding contributions to the paper over the year.
