TIM GREENAWAY: Morning Members this is the first of hopefully a series of (live) updates from the President of the AMA Tasmania.
My name is Tim Greenaway.
I’d like to inform you of the decision of the full bench of the Industrial Commission this morning which was to grant the government's application to stay the application of the award decision by Commissioner Abey on January 12.
There will be a full bench hearing of the industrial commission on April 29 to hear this matter.
But it is important that members know that there will be no change to your salary or conditions and that has been guaranteed by the government.
We will be working with the government to lodge an updated award as soon as possible
The only matter that is outstanding will be the Private Practice scheme and that issue will be determined by the full bench on April 29.
