Applications for new Health Ombudsman close 4 August
Applications close on 4 August for Queensland's new Health Ombudsman.

The Office of the Health Ombudsman is an independent statutory body established under the Health Ombudsman Act 2013 (the Act) and the single-entry point for all health service complaints in Queensland.
The OHO has broad powers to deal with complaints and other matters relating to the health, conduct or performance of both registered and unregistered health practitioners and the services provided by health service organisations.
In performing the health ombudsman’s functions, the health ombudsman must act independently, impartially and in the public interest.
