MOCA 7 update
Medical Officers’ Certified Agreement No 7 (MOCA 7) negotiations are still ongoing, and as the expiry date for MOCA 6 is fast approaching, members are asked to ensure their details are up to date.
MOCA is a collective agreement that sets the terms and conditions of employment for doctors working for Queensland Health.

In preparation for a possible escalation in negotiations, AMA Queensland and ASMOFQ ask any members working for Queensland Health to update the following details.
- Your contact details
- Which Queensland Health hospital you are currently working at
- Your current classification with Queensland Health
- Whether you are currently an ASMOFQ member
AMA Queensland membership includes joint membership with ASMOFQ, unless you have opted out or have not informed us that you are working for Queensland Health in any capacity.
As an ASMOFQ member, you will be supporting our work to achieve the best MOCA outcome and by providing your current details, we will be able organise meetings and co-ordinate action if and/or when needed.
