The State Government's investment in primary care is welcome, but the funding could go so much further if it was used to establish women's health services delivered through existing general practices.
“It would be an amazing initiative to fund nurses to be part of a general practice team and also offer outreach services in shopping centres or other accessible places as part of a collaborative, team-based model," said President Dr Maria Boulton.
