Pharmacist administration of vaccinations in general practice
AMA Queensland, as part of the GP Alliance, and the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia have sent a joint letter to the Queensland Health Minister advocating for pharmacists working in general practice to be able to continue administering certain vaccines.
AMA Queensland remains committed to supporting collaborative health care models, particularly GP-led multidisciplinary teams, to ensure access to vital health care for all Queensland patients.
