We are committed to providing our members with the support and services they need, so they are free to focus on caring for their patients.
As an AMA SA member you have access to a wide range of free resources, discounted products and services, plus professional development opportunities, and advice on workplace and career matters.
The AMA SA also has partnerships with leading commercial organisations, including Hood Sweeney, Mitsubishi Motors Australia, Norman Waterhouse lawyers, and AMA Finance Brokers who have extensive experience supporting healthcare professionals, and offer exclusive and tailored benefits to our members.
Your voice
AMA SA is an influential voice for the medical profession, its members and our patients.
Our strong relationships with governments, media, communities and the health sector give us a platform from which we play a pivotal role in informing legislation, policy, funding and services that directly affect doctors, patients and the South Australian community.
We also ensure South Australian issues are heard at the national level, both within the AMA and in political and policy-making debates.
Your community
We are passionate about bringing together all South Australian doctors and working as a united force for the greater good of the medical profession, and all South Australians.
Connect with colleagues across all fields of medicine, build your professional network, and be an active part of the conversation on issues that affect you and your profession.
All doctors, all specialties, all stages of your career
Whether you are a medical student, doctor in training, working in private practice, a large hospital, or a rural community, we have a membership option for you – and will support you every step of the way.
AMA SA membership is open to all medical practitioners registered to practice medicine in South Australia, and free to medical students studying in South Australia.
Doctors who join AMA SA automatically become members of the Federal AMA, the peak body advancing the interests of doctors with the Australian Government.
