Dr-Mark-Ralfe

Mark is a GP currently spending most of his time in sports medicine at Wakefield Sports and Exercise Medicine Clinic. After 4 years in the hospital systems, gaining his postgraduate Diplomas in Obstetrics and Paediatrics, Mark did rural stream GP training. His career includes EMST (trauma) training, a year-long Emergency Certificate, formal training in Hypnosis, the theory component of the Master of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Part 1 Fellowship exams for Medical Acupuncture and a Master of Sports Medicine. Mark was the first non-physician asked to work at the Australian Institute of Sports. He has also been lucky to have worked for the AFL, Cricket Australia, Lacrosse Australia, SANFL, Rugby Australia, FIFA and is currently helping out the A-League soccer. Marks special interests also include point-of-care ultrasound and doing many different types of intra-articular injections, including being the only doctor in SA using an anti-interleukin and TNF arthritis injection for osteoarthritis. Being a GP can mean being on the cutting edge of useful patient interventions.

Mark will share his experience across a huge range of training and jobs that a primary care doc can do - and its fun!

Cooper-McRae

Cooper McRae is a Financial Planner with more than six years of experience in the industry.

Cooper is a believer that building financial literacy is the key to supporting people to make informed decisions about their finances. Having gained experience across the full breadth of financial planning, Cooper was drawn to personal risk insurance as his area of expertise and was keen to join the specialist personal insurance team. “Ensuring everyday Australians, across all walks of life are adequately protected from the financial ramifications of illness or injury, means people can focus on their families and health in times of grief and illness, instead of worrying about their finances.”

Cooper enjoys the process of relationship building with clients and appreciates that the milestones in people’s lives, like welcoming a new child or kicking off a professional career, are when insurance is an important consideration.
