Medical Home - 2021
AMA Federal Council has updated its 2015 position statement on the Medical Home as part of a regular review to maintain its currency and to better reflect the role envisaged as part of the AMA’s 10 year framework for primary care reform.
The position statement lays out the key principles and requirements for transforming general practices into appropriately funded medical homes that are better supported in delivering preventive, longitudinal, integrated and coordinated comprehensive health care.
