Position Statement

Measuring Clinical Outcomes in General Practice 2021

The position statement was first approved by Federal Council in 2012. It has been revised as part of part of regular review processes to maintain currency and reflect more up to data research.

The position statement outlines the purpose of and how outcome measures should be developed and used to support improved patient outcomes, while minimising any unintended consequences or mi-use that may arise from their use.
