AMA Submission to the Review of General Practice Accreditation Arrangements
The AMA has made a submission to the Review of General Practice Accreditation Arrangements that is currently being conducted by the Department of Health.
The submission reiterates the AMA's long standing support for a profession led model of accreditation and highlights the strengths of the current arrangements. However, the submission also highlights a number of areas for reform to reduce compliance costs, provide improved support for practices and to encourage greater participation.
