New CSIRO platform to help combat antimicrobial resistance
The new online resource is part of an initiative to expand knowledge of the AMR threat and strategies to minimise risks.
CSIRO have recently released a new resource aiming to provide evidence-based, accessible information to inform policy and action to reduce the impact of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) on human, animal and environmental health.
Our research into the AMR threat and report — ‘Antimicrobial resistance: the silent global pandemic’ — shows the interrelation between AMR and the inextricable link between humans, animals, and environmental health, conceptually coined One Health.
CSIRO’s new AMR Action & Insights platform further explores issues of AMR through the One Health lens and promises to keep practitioners up to date with the latest research on all issues related to AMR.
