Drs4Drs ACT and Drs4Drs Tasmania have joined state service providers to offer local support to local doctors. These services are free and confidential, and an experienced colleague is available for support.

Doctors in the ACT and Tasmania who wish to access their state service can call 1300 374 377 and tell the operator where they are calling from to be connected with the doctor on call.

For information on these and the other state service providers (including Doctors’ Health Advisory Service NSW, Doctors’ Health Queensland, Doctors’ Health Advisory Service WA, Doctors’ Health SA and Doctors’ Health NT, and the Victorian Doctors Health Program) visit https://www.drs4drs.com.au/getting-help/.

The mental health support service 1300 Dr4Drs is free and confidential, and available for crisis and non-urgent care. Counsellors are trained and experienced and have completed the “Be a Doctor for Doctors” learning modules.

The Drs4Drs website has practical five-minute guides on health topics that impact doctors the most and tips for when you have that annual health check with your GP.  Learn more about how to stay well.
