Drs4Drs offers some tips for doctors on surviving and thriving during the silly season.

As Christmas approaches many of us are busy planning for the end of the year. While this can be a time of joy and relaxation, it can also be challenging and stressful to meet commitments and expectations from friends as well as families. Many GPs and doctors in hospitals are working during the festive season, which can sometimes lead to feelings of isolation among our members in the medical community.

With these things in mind, here is a timely reminder you are not alone. Drs4Drs is here to help by giving advice or simply being here to listen.

Drs4Drs offers two types of complementary confidential, free and 24/7 support systems. Our website drs4drs.com.au/getting-help provides all the important information for getting help from our states and territory based services. Our additional tele-psychology service can be reached via 1300 Dr4Drs or (1300 374 377) for crisis and non-urgent care alike. The services are also available for family members and colleagues.

The Drs4Drs team, with all of the state and territory based Doctors Health Services, wish you all a wonderful holiday season and all the best for the upcoming year 2023.
