AMA submission to the national strategic approach to antimicrobial resistance

The AMA strongly supports government efforts to develop a national strategic approach to antimicrobial resistance. Its submission encouraged further work to build on and refine existing programs as well as efforts to identify additional approaches. In particular, the AMA supported a stronger focus on appropriate and ethical use of antibiotics in aged care facilities.
