Final call for abstracts: Women and Girls' Health Showcases 2025
Queensland Health will be hosting two Women and Girls’ Health Showcase events in 2025, with the first taking place in Brisbane on 26–27 February 2025 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
In preparation for these exciting educational and networking opportunities, Queensland Health is currently seeking abstracts for oral presentations, posters and/or participation on a panel. The deadline for abstract submissions has been extended to midnight Sunday 8 December 2024.
Queensland Health welcomes abstracts from individuals and teams who can demonstrate how their program, model of care or initiative has made a positive impact on any of the following areas:
- periods or pelvic health including endometriosis
- menopause or perimenopause
- mental health
- sexual health or reproduction
They also encourage submissions that address how your work aligns with supporting women and girls from the following priority populations:
- First Nations women and girls
- culturally and linguistically diverse women and girls
- women and girls with disability
- members of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex and Queer communities
- women and girls living in rural and remote areas
- women and girls in contact with the justice system, including women in custody
Submissions are open to organisations or individuals and must adhere to the guidelines.
