We out grew our venue last year and have moved to the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (Boulevard Level). Limited numbers are still available for the afternoon session.

AMA Queensland invites you to the 2023 Medical Careers Expo, the one stop shop for all your career opportunities and advice.

Block out the morning or afternoon, bring your colleagues and meet a selection of Colleges, Hospitals and Private Operators regarding medical career pathways and get your questions answered. We will also have panels of experts with LIVE Q&A.

This event is for all Queensland doctors in every stage of their career. 

Come along if you are:

  • looking for information before deciding on a career pathway or changing your placement;
  • interested in working in regional, rural, remote areas or in aeromedical evacuation and aerospace medicine
  • keen to learn from experts and industry professionals who will be able to answer any of your burning questions in a LIVE Q&A session
  • seeking career opportunities and advice from a selection of colleges, hospitals and private operators
  • considering opportunities across the Private or Public sectors and
  • wanting to have a great afternoon networking with your peers, winning prizes while discovering your dream job!

You can cancel your registration without penalty until 11.59pm Saturday11 March. Penalties may apply for cancelations after that date. Read the terms and conditions for complimentary tickets on this webpage.

Terms and conditions for complimentary tickets

Thanks to AMA Queensland and our 30 sponsors, we were able to offer 300 complimentary tickets for the Medical Careers Expo. These are the T&Cs for your free ticket:

  • If you registered for the AM session (10am-2pm) or PM session (1.30pm-5.30pm) you cannot change your session time without approval from registrations@amaq.com.au.
  • If you cancel your complimentary ticket before 11.59pm Saturday 11 March you will not incur no cancellation fee. If you cancel after Saturday 11 March, within 7 days from event, a $180 cancellation fee will be invoiced to you. This is due to venue expenses such as food and beverage and room hire fee.
  • You can cancel your ticket by emailing registrations@amaq.com.au.
