In accordance with the Association’s Constitution, we are now calling for nominations for the following positions:
- President – one-year term 2025-2026
- Vice President – one-year term 2025-2026
- Member Elected Director – two-year term 2025-2027 – two positions available
- Councillor – two-year terms 2025-2027
Council Craft Group Representatives
- General Practitioner Craft Group Representative – two positions available
- Specialist Craft Group Representative – two positions available
- International Medical Graduate Representative – one position available
- Full-time Salaried Medical Practitioner Representative – one position available
- Part-time Medical Practitioner Representative – one position available
- Medical Student Representative – one position available
Council Geographical Area Representatives
- Greater Brisbane Area Representative – three positions available
- Capricornia Area Representative – one position available
- Downs and West Area Representative – one position available
- Far North Area Representative – one position available
Please note: the 2025 nominations process will be conducted entirely online.
Members will receive an email with a unique link to the online nomination form.
Nominations open 12noon Monday 10 March 2025 AEST.
Nominations close 12noon Wednesday 26 March 2025 AEST.
The term of appointment commences at the close of the Annual General Meeting on Friday 30 May 2025.

Please ensure your details and membership fees are up-to-date to be able to nominate and vote in the election. For the purpose of the 2025 election, changes to personal details in the register of members must be done by 12noon Thursday 20 March 2025 AEST.
