About the event
With the ACT Legislative Assembly election due to be held in October 2024, AMA ACT is seeking your input into shaping our policy priorities for the election. The Election Policy Forum is an opportunity to join with colleagues and talk about local health issues that are important to you, and how we can highlight those issues in our campaign developed over the next 8 months.
Whatever your health-related issue, potential solution, daily irritant or good idea, this is the place to start the conversation. The format of the Election Policy Forum will see us kick off with a single combined session and then move into facilitated break out groups to explore different parts of the health system, before coming back together to wrap up.
The Forum will be led by Professor Walter Abhayaratna, AMA ACT President together with Dr Kerrie Aust, AMA ACT President-Elect.
Parking will be available on site and refreshments will be provided at the Forum.
