We invite you, as someone who cares about the quality of mental health services in the ACT, to join Canberra Deepend General Practice, AMA ACT and Capital Health Network, along with other interested parties, at two half-day free workshops on June 23 and July 7, 2023.
The purpose of the workshops is to take a new approach to ACT mental health care services system reform. We want the outputs from these conversations to help guide the processes of reform that are already underway. By starting with a focus on the big picture and blue-sky brainstorm what we would like to see, rather than start ‘in the weeds’ and limit ourselves only to what we assume is possible, we hope to co-create significant change.
Workshop 1 - envision what a world class, patient centred, primary – secondary care coordinated, respectful public mental health service in the ACT would look like. The current general practice survey will inform the areas / topics for priority action.
Workshop 2 - apply this vision to begin to develop with all stakeholders a plan to move toward that ideal service.
The workshops will be held at the AMA offices, 1st floor, 39 Brisbane Avenue, Barton. Please RSVP to attend by no later than 5pm on July 6 via this link https://forms.office.com/r/tazmr8TPKN.
