Diary Note AMA Position Statement on Women's Health 2014

The AMA will release its Position Statement on Women’s Health 2014 at Parliament House in Canberra on Wednesday, 5 March 2014, at 10.00am.

The Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for Women, Senator the Hon Michaelia Cash; Senator for the Northern Territory, Senator Nova Peris; and AMA President, Dr Steve Hambleton, will officiate at the release of the Position Statement.

The Position Statement addresses a broad range of women’s health issues, including domestic and family violence and sexual assault; the health needs of lesbian and bisexual women; and specific population groups, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women.
