AusCAPPS Network

The Australian Contraception and Abortion Primary Care Practitioner Support Network (AusCAPPS) is an NHMRC funded online community of practice developed in partnership with the RACGP, RANZCOG, APNA, the PSA, and other key stakeholders for primary health care providers who are interested in increasing women's access to long acting reversible contraceptives (LARC) and medical abortion.

This Community of Practice is designed to help you as a clinician connect with your peers and access expert knowledge and information at no cost. The Network:

  • Connects you with GPs, pharmacists and nurses around Australia who also provide LARC and medical abortion services

  • Provides access to training and education opportunities relating to LARC insertion and medical abortion provision

  • Enables you to put your questions to an expert network

  • Gives you access to resources, guidelines, referral forms and patient handouts

  • Keeps you connected with the latest news and research related to LARC and medical abortion
