Information for GPs and practices about the transition to college-led training
The Australian Government has announced that the general practice colleges will deliver the AGPT program from 1 February 2023. The RACGP have developed resources to assist in the transition to college-led training.
The Australian General Practice (AGPT) program will transition to the GP colleges from February 1, 2023, in a profession-led training approach. The transition will build upon the current RTO-delivered approach. The RACGP have developed resources for GP practices, GP supervisors, and GP registrars to assist with the transition to college-led training.
