AMA National Conference Registrations and Awards Now Open – the countdown is on!

Get ready for the 2022 AMA National Conference! AMA members are invited to attend the 29-31 July AMA National Conference. To be held in Sydney and by video, the three-day CPD eligible program includes international and national medical leaders as speakers. Election of the new AMA President and Vice President will occur during the conference, and the 2022 AMA awards will be announced. Registrations for the AMA National Conference opened on Friday 1 April. 

Confirmed speakers include Dr Anthony Fauci, Prof Brendan Murphy, Prof Paul Kelly, and Prof Ruth Stewart. The next Federal Health Minister and Shadow Health Minister will also participate to hear doctors discuss what’s needed for the health system post-pandemic.

Nominations are also open for AMA awards. Members may nominate a colleague for an award by clicking on the following categories:  

Nominations by State and Territory AMAs are also open for admission to the AMA Roll of Fellows. Award recipients, including the Gold Medal and President’s Award, will be announced at the AMA National Conference.
