DVA provider news—Veterans Access Payment (VAP) for general practitioners
The Department of Veterans’ Affairs has recently provided an update on the Veterans Access Payment (VAP) for general practitioners.
In line with MBS arrangements, the temporary doubling of fees for MBS bulk billing incentive items ceased from 1 October 2020. The DVA VAP fee has returned to its usual rate for both face-to-face and telehealth services – see updated fees below:
- MT88 = $11.50
- MT89 = $7.60
- 10990 = $7.60
- 10991 = $11.50
- 10992 = $11.50
- 64990 = $7.15
- 64991 = $10.80
- 74990 = $7.15
- 74991 = $10.80
