Scam Alert

GPs and their staff are advised to be aware of a business directory scam that appears to have surfaced again. The scam involves practitioners or practices being contacted either by phone or letter, sometimes both, regarding a listing in a business directory. The contact could be false renewal notice for non-existent entry or a call to confirm details for the listing, with an invoice then being sent for the listing.
