Register now - AMA National Conference: 27-29 May - Canberra

GPs are invited to register now for the AMA National Conference 2016. Speakers at the Conference include the Minister for Health, the Hon Sussan Ley MP; Shadow Minister for Health, the Hon Catherine King MP; and the Leader of the Australian Greens, Senator Richard Di Natale.

The Conference program this year is broader, bolder, and more relevant than ever to day-to-day medical practice. We have a high quality mix of contentious subject matter, respected and topical speakers, interactive policy sessions (which offer valuable CPD points), and a family-friendly Partner Program.

Book Now to watch the AMA tackle the difficult issues affecting Australia’s health system at this years’ conference. The host of ABC TV’s Q&A program, Tony Jones will facilitate a policy session on Assisted Dying, while a panel of Press Gallery heavyweights - Paul Bongiorno, Sue Dunlevy, Laura Tingle, Andrew Probyn and Malcolm Farr - will discuss the upcoming Federal Election and the implications for health policy.

The elections for AMA President and Vice President will be held on Sunday.
