RACGP Standards for after-hours and medical deputising services (5th edition) released

The RACGP has released the Standards for after-hours and medical deputising services (5th edition) (the Standards).

To be accredited against the Standards, a service must first meet the RACGP's definition of an after-hours or medical deputising service for the purposes of accreditation. Similar to the requirements for general practices, after-hours and medical deputising services are then required to meet the following modules:

  • Core
  • Quality improvement
  • After-hours and medical deputising services

The Standards are available for download on the RACGP website.

The RACGP will provide an informative session via webinar to support the implementation of the Standards at 7.00–8.30 pm AEST, Thursday 30 August 2018.
