Labor supports AMA call for national summit on alcohol-fuelled violence

Leader of the Opposition, Bill Shorten, and Shadow Minister for Health, Catherine King, last week announced Labor’s full support for the AMA’s call for a national summit to address alcohol misuse and harms. They commended the AMA’s leadership in calling for industry, public health experts and others to engage in constructive discussions to look at reducing alcohol related harm.
