Help for GPs treating Veterans
Ever had trouble laying your hands on that DVA phone number, form or list of services? GPs who treat veterans might be interested in the DVA’s Information for Medical Practitioners' Package. As well as providing PowerPoint presentations that cover veteran eligibility, DVA fee schedules, DVA programs, services provided, and claiming information, a very handy list of DVA links for medical practitioners is also available. This can be accessed from the DVA website (www.dva.gov.au) by clicking on Providers and then Doctors. This page also provides quick access to the D0904 form that doctors use when making requests or referrals.
