Fact sheets on COVID-19 impacts on International medical workforce now available
The Department of Health has released two fact sheets outlining concerns from the health sector about how continued migration restrictions during COVID-19 will impact Australia’s workforce capacity.
The fact sheet International Health Workers & COVID 19 provides a single source of information on border restrictions, international student working hours and visa issues to assist providers and jurisdictions in preparing their workforce response.
The fact sheet Border Exemptions—International Medical Students outlines the process and evidence required for International Medial Students to apply for an exemption to return to Australia and continue their studies.
