AMA Rural Health Issues Survey ends this weekend

It’s not too late to have your say about rural issues affecting your practice, patients and community, and the health policies you want to see from the major political parties at the upcoming Federal election by completing the AMA Rural Health Issues Survey. The survey ends Sunday 31 March.

The results from the last survey, run in 2016, helped the AMA advocate for the effective establishment and implementation of Government programs including Regional Training Networks, the National Rural Generalist Pathway and the More Doctors for Rural Australia Program (MDRAP), the Modified Monash Model (MMM), and reform to the Bonded Medical Places (BMP) program.

Doctors who participate will go into the draw to win a $500 RM Williams gift voucher. Any doctors who have not yet received an invitation to complete the survey and feel that they should have can contact Nicholas Elmitt at nelmitt@ama.com.au
