AMA Member Diversity Survey

The AMACDT has been working hard to advocate for more diversity and inclusivity both within medicine and within the AMA itself...but now we need your help.

AMA President, Dr Omar Khorshid sent an email to all members on Wednesday 2 December with a link to participate in the first AMA Member Diversity Survey.

So, if you missed it, find the email and complete the survey to share your experiences and perceptions of diversity, equity, and inclusion as an AMA member.

The survey should take less than ten minutes to complete and all responses are anonymous.

The survey results will be used to inform the AMA’s future work on diversity, contribute to the AMA’s wider goal of promoting a culture of inclusion within the medical profession and is a key action arising from the AMA Diversity and Inclusion Plan 2020-2022.

It will help us to better understand the diverse makeup of our membership and identify diversity areas where we may need to actively work to boost representation.

Your participation is vital if we are to achieve this.

The key findings from the survey will be compiled in a report and circulated to members following consideration by the AMA Federal Council and the AMA Board in the first quarter of 2021.

The survey runs from 2 -15 December 2020.
