The AMA has made a submission to the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality Health Care (ACSQHC) and royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) on the current general practice accreditation scheme. The submission highlights that there are areas where current system of accreditation could be improved to encourage greater participation and reduced some of the cost burden.
