Submission to ACSQHC on development of COPD clinical standards
On 31 July the AMA provided a submission to the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (ACSQHC) providing initial advice on the development of national clinical standards for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
The AMA submission outlines some general principles for the Commission to apply when developing clinical care standards that impact care predominantly provided by general practitioners and provides high level advice on the key aspects for the COPD standard.
