On 26 July the AMA provided a submission to the Department of Industry, Science and Resources Discussion Paper: Safe and responsible AI in Australia.
The AMA submission welcomed the consultation, but argued that the health sector requires its own approach and a separate strategy to protect patients, consumers, healthcare professionals and their data.
