Drs4Drs Tasmania welcomes Dr Fiona Beer
Drs4Drs Tasmania welcomes Dr Fiona Beer, who has recently commenced as Medical Director for Drs4Drs Tasmania.
Fiona represented Drs4Drs at the Tasmanian Rural Health Conference in late May, connecting with rural health professionals and helping to strengthen our relationships across the sector.
Fiona is a Rural Generalist and specialist GP with experience across general practice and emergency medicine. She is currently undertaking advanced training in Occupational and Environmental Medicine and is actively involved in the Tasmanian medical community, including as a council member of AMA Tasmania. Fiona brings a strong focus on clinician wellbeing, clinical governance, and supporting doctors through complex professional challenges.
Based in regional Tasmania, Fiona also enjoys life on her farm, where caring for her handful of sheep provides a welcome balance to her clinical work, especially with a few surprise lambs expected in the coming weeks.
