AMACDT and medical college trainee representatives discuss perspectives on exam preparation

The AMA Trainee Forum met on 28 May 2026. Facilitated by AMA Council of Doctors in Training (AMACDT) Chair Dr Sanjay Hettige, the forum focused on trainee perspectives on exam preparation, including institutional and college support, structural barriers to success, wellbeing impacts, and how assessment models could better reflect modern training and learning environments. Trainee chairs and representatives from a range of specialist medical colleges attended to share experiences, highlight common concerns, and identify examples of better practice.
