AMA submission to the TGA consultation on evidence required to support indications for Listed Medicines

21 Jun 2012

The AMA provided feedback to the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) on its draft document Evidence Required to Support Indications for Listed Medicines.  The AMA supports the improved evidence requirements contained in the draft document, and welcomes the strengthening of regulations to help protect the public. However, until the TGA has the resources to undertake more audits of sponsor information, the system for listing evidence will still be open to fraud.
