AMA submission to the review of complexity within the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme — Consultation paper 1
The AMA has raised concerns with the direction of the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme Complexity Review (the Dawson Review) in a submission to consultation paper one.
The review frames the National Scheme as a health workforce program which it cannot be as the primary objective must be to uphold standards of the regulated health professions, ensure public safety through independent accreditation and fair profession-led regulation of practice.
