AMA Victoria’s Professional Development and Careers team is dedicated to supporting doctors at every career stage, from medical student through to retirement. These services are exclusive to members. 

All AMA members have access to significantly discounted career, leadership, high-performance coaching services, as well as to tailored professional development programs and resources. Our accredited coaches and educators bring extensive expertise in the health sector and a deep understanding of the career pathway of a doctor. 

The team specialises in helping doctors navigate key transition points such as entering accredited training, stepping into your first consultant role, commencing in private practice, taking up a new leadership position and preparing for retirement.
