World Medical Association to address National Conference

President-elect of the WMA, Dr Heidi Stensmyren will speak about actions by doctors to stop global warming.

President-elect of the World Medical Association, Dr Heidi Stensmyren, will address the AMA National Conference on global action of doctors on climate change.  

Dr Stensmyren is also President of the Swedish Medical Association and Chair of the Swedish Medical Journal.

Dr Stensmyren will outline to the AMA National Conference actions of doctors from around the world to halt further climate damage, and action being taken within national health care systems regarding the carbon footprint of health service delivery.
