The AMA is asking members what they want included in a new CPD home. Members are invited to take part in a survey, which closes 30 June 2022 and takes 10 minutes to complete.

Health Ministers approved the Medical Board of Australia’s revised Registration Standard: Continuing Professional Development in July last year. From 1 January 2024, all doctors (other than those who are exempt) must participate in the CPD program of an approved CPD home.

With the introduction of CPD homes in 2023, the AMA is seeking Australian Medical Council accreditation as a CPD home supporting all doctors.

To ensure the AMA offers a valued CPD home service, members are asked to respond to questions about their work environment, how their CPD is currently managed, and what they are looking for in a future CPD home.
