The 2021 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Australian Medical Association Limited (AMA) will be held at 42 Macquarie Street, Barton, Australian Capital Territory and via Zoom Webinar at 5:00 pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Thursday 27 May 2021.
Every member of the AMA is welcome to attend the AGM to hear reports of activities of the Association carried out on behalf of members in 2020.

There will be the opportunity to ask questions at the AGM. Questions can also be lodged in advance with the Board Chair via email@example.com any time before Noon on Tuesday 25 May 2021. The Chair will endeavour to answer as many questions as time permits at the AGM.
Members can watch and participate in the AGM virtually via Zoom Webinar. This includes the ability to ask questions and vote. Members can also join via the telephone dial in numbers but will not be able to ask questions or vote.
After registering for the AGM you will receive an email with links and details on how to attend. This may take up to 48 hours to appear in your inbox as your registration will need to be verified.

Proxy forms must be received by the Australian Medical Association Limited by 5:00 pm Australian Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday 25 May.
Proxies do not need to be a member of the Australian Medical Association Limited.
Proxies must attend the meeting to vote.
If you have specified how you want your proxy to vote on the Resolution and your proxy does not attend the meeting, the chair will act as your proxy (section 250BC).
A general proxy allows your proxy to decide how to vote on the Resolution. If your proxy does not attend the meeting, no one will vote on your behalf.
If you change your mind, you can submit another proxy form. However, the revised proxy form must be received by 5:00 pm Australian Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday 25 May 2021.
If you attend the meeting, your proxy’s authority to speak and vote for you is suspended (section 249Y(3)).
