Consultation exploring Queensland's genetic health services

Queensland Health invites Queensland clinicians working in primary care to participate in a consultation exploring options for enhancing genetic health services delivered in the state.

Planning has commenced to develop a service delivery model to improve equitable and timely access to genetic healthcare across Queensland.

The genetic healthcare landscape is rapidly evolving with advances in research and technology and changing consumer needs and expectations, making consultation and engagement with Queensland Health staff, consumers, researchers and primary care practitioners an important component of the planning process.

Clinicians working in primary care in Queensland are invited to participate in an anonymous, online survey via this link SURVEY LINK

The survey will run for three weeks and closes on 7 May 2025

Insights from all stakeholders will be considered in the development of an optimal and sustainable service model for Queensland Health genetic health services.

For any questions about this consultation or if you would like to discuss your feedback with the project team, please contact statewide_services@health.qld.gov.au.
