AMA Tasmania is delighted to host our first Women in Medicine High Tea at Prospect Country House, bringing together women across the medical profession for an afternoon of connection, and celebration in one of Tasmania’s most beautiful heritage settings.
At the heart of the afternoon will be a special address from Her Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, Ms Caroline Wells, offering her reflections on healthcare, leadership and how professional experience can be used to serve and strengthen the community.
Places are strictly limited to ensure an intimate and considered experience.
In a profession where time, space and connection can be difficult to find, this high tea offers a rare opportunity to pause, gather with colleagues, smell the roses and celebrate the women shaping medicine in Tasmania. The afternoon is designed to be both meaningful and enjoyable: a chance to share conversation outside the clinical environment, hear from an inspiring Tasmanian leader and enjoy one of the state’s most beautiful heritage settings. Whether you are looking to reconnect with peers, bring a colleague, or simply enjoy a thoughtfully hosted afternoon in a beautiful regional location, AMA Tasmania’s inaugural Women in Medicine High Tea offers a welcoming space to do just that.
